Doug Carlson is the Executive Director of Communications and Computing Services at New York University. In this position, he is responsible for the operation and evolution of NYU’s international communications, computing and network security infrastructure. Doug is a member of several Educause working groups and, within the Educause NET@EDU organization, serves on the steering committees of the Integrated Communications Services (ICS) and Wireless working groups. Prior to joining NYU, he managed and supported large-scale communications and computing services at several academic, corporate and research facilities.
